LEWISBORO LIBRARY MOVING INFORMATION!!
The library will begin construction on its long-awaited expansion and renovation project on Wednesday, April 2. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 3:30 pm.
During the building project, the library will be relocating to the Social Hall of the South Salem Presbyterian Church, located at 111 Spring Street in South Salem. Our temporary quarters will house a revolving portion of our collection, as well as computers for public use and Wi-Fi. Weekly story hours will continue as scheduled and special events and programs will take place on a more limited basis.
The current library will be closed as of Sunday, March 16, so we can pack up and transfer materials to our temporary location, with plans to open up there the week of March 24. The building project is expected to take approximately twelve months to complete.
