POSITION AVAILABLE: LIBRARY FAIR COORDINATOR
Organized self-starter with a knowledge of the community wanted for the part-time position of Lewisboro Library Fair coordinator. The Fair is the main annual fundraiser for the Library and will take place on September 22, 2018. Responsibilities include logistics and set-up of Fair, recruiting and scheduling of volunteers, community outreach and marketing, coordinating Fair activities with committee chairs and after-Fair clean up. You must be detail-oriented, computer and social media savvy with good communication skills. This is a temporary part-time position of approximately 12 hours per week during June/July, and 20 hours per week during August/September for $20.00 per hour.

Free Book, Music & Video Downloads & Streaming
The Library has free eBooks, audiobooks, music and videos available for streaming or download onto your computer and digital devices. Click on the Digital Media Catalog tab above for access to the Westchester Library System's list of digital providers, such as Overdrive, Total BooX, RBdigital, Kanopy and Hoopla. Click on the Freegal Music Service tab above for access to the Sony Music catalog. You must enter your library card number and PIN. If you have fines of $25 or more, your card will not be able to access these services.
The Westchester Library System has many helpful databases that patrons may access free of charge from home using their library card. There are databases to help with learning a new language (Mango Languages), career advice (Lynda.com) and more. The databases can be reached via the Online Resources link above.
Wireless Internet Access
Wireless Internet access is available at the library to use with your own wireless-enabled laptop or pda. In order to connect, your computer must have a WiFi-compatible network card installed (802.11b or 802.11g). We also recommend a charged battery, as electrical outlets are limited. Wireless users agree to abide by the library policy on wireless use of the Internet. A copy of this policy can be found at the Circulation Desk.
