LEWISBORO LIBRARY FAIR - Saturday, September 23, 2017

10 am - 4 pm  Onatru Farm Town Park

99 Elmwood Road, South Salem, NY

The 57th annual Lewisboro Library Fair will be held rain or shine, on Saturday, September 23 from 10 am to 4 pm at Onatru Farm Town Park. The Fair highlight is the Book Sale, but it also features “Attic Treasures” and Toy sales, a silent auction, food, music, vintage cars, an amazing maze, kids’ games and local vendors. The Fair Pre-Sales, also held at Onatru Farm, are a great warm-up to Fair Day. The Book and Sporting Equipment Pre-Sale is Thursday, September 21 from 5 to 9 pm. Admission is free for Lewisboro residents; there is a $20 admission fee for non-residents. The Book Pre-Sale continues Friday, September 22 from 9 am to 5 pm, with free admission for all. There will be an After-Sale of book and Attic Treasure bargains on Sunday, September 24 from 10 am to 2 pm.

The Fair’s Silent Auction offers opportunities to bid on gift baskets, sporting event tickets, gift cards for local businesses and services and much more. The Concours d’Elegance car show has a wide range of vehicles from show cars to weekend cruisers. To register, contact Dean Travalino at 763-5402 or ssalemconcours@optimum.net. There’s no entrance fee. In addition to providing plaques for the winners, sponsor Mercedes-Benz of Goldens Bridge will hold a special contest for a chance to win a Mercedes-Benz for a weekend and a Day at the Spa for your own car, including full interior and exterior detail, oil change and filter and tire rotation. Just stop by the Mercedes table at the Fair to sign up - no purchase necessary, but must be 21 years old.

An array of food is available to please the pickiest of palates as well as homemade baked goods at the Bake Sale Tent. Donations of baked goods are needed, and can be dropped off at the Bake Sale Tent anytime after 10 am on Fair Day, to supplement the wonderful treats donated by Ingenuities, the Market on Spring and Alison Edgar. The theme for this year's "Battle of the Bakers" is apple desserts. So whip up your prized apple cake, cookie, pie, muffin - anything that doesn't have to be refrigerated! Entries should be brought to the Bake Sale Tent by 11:30 on Fair Day. Judging is at 1:00 pm. All bakers should submit this Entry Form prior to Fair Day.

If you’re by the food area, be sure to take a break and enjoy the music by talented local performers like Halfway to Sanity, Bedford School of Rock and Chip Andrus.

The Fair’s “Vendor Alley” has a variety of unique items for the serious shopper, from vendors like Happy Heart Creative Art, Pelican’s Pocket, LuLaRoe, Ruby Ribbon and Kitchawan Woodcraft. Don’t forget to visit the community booths as well, to find out about all the services available in Lewisboro and surrounding areas.

As part of the Library’s Sign up in September promotion, Lewisboro residents without Library cards can sign up for a card at the Fair and receive a free Library tote and enter a raffle to win a Library-themed prize. Sign-up will be at the Trustees booth; must have ID showing Lewisboro residency.

Many thanks to this year's primary sponsor, Celebrity Motor Car Company/Mercedes-Benz of Goldens Bridge as well as sponsors Copia Home and Garden, Dutch Flower Line, Flower Market Delivery, Gossett Brothers Nursery, DeCicco Family Markets, Houlihan Lawrence, Ingenuities, Le Chateau, Marshall Oil Company and G Page Wholesalers.

PLEASE VOLUNTEER! The Fair is our major fundraiser for the year. To help the Fair run smoothly we need volunteers on Fair Day, for set-up, Pre-Sales and After-Sale. Teens in middle and high school are especially needed to work the children's game area. This is a great opportunity for students to earn community service hours.  Please sign up at the Library or via these links:
